I'm Free! (sort of...)
Well, I’m out of boot camp and newly arrived at my “A” School, where I’ll learn how to perform my job as an Electronics Technician. It’s just a few miles up the road from boot camp, so they have lots of rules here too, but in a few weeks I should gain most of my freedom back. I’ll be able to wear civilian clothes again, stay out late, and even drive a car!
I’ll be here at “A” School for about 8 months, after which I may
receive more training elsewhere or be sent directly to my final
command. I won’t find that out until near the end of my time here.
I miss you all and wish I could be there with you, but I feel there
is a reason for me to be here and I’m not going to give up, no matter
how hard it gets (and it gets pretty hard). I trust that the Lord will
provide and help me get through whatever I need to get through.
I’ll try to get on my email within the next few days and respond to
any messages you may have sent. Thank you all for your support.
